Whether you are a convenience store, gas station, dollar store, or any retail business across Canada or internationally, our shipping process is designed to keep your shelves stocked and your business running without interruption. Please read this policy carefully so you know exactly what to expect from the moment you place an order to the moment it arrives at your door.

Order Processing

Once your order is placed and payment is confirmed, our warehouse team begins processing it right away. Here is what happens, step by step:

Order Confirmation

You receive an automated confirmation email with your order number and purchase summary within minutes of placing your order.

Picking and Packing

Our warehouse team picks, quality-checks, and securely packs your items. Standard processing takes 1 to 3 business days.

Dispatch and Tracking

Once your order is handed to the carrier, you receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number and carrier details.

Delivery

Your order arrives within the estimated timeframe for your shipping zone. GTA customers may qualify for same-day delivery.

Processing Time: Standard processing is 1 to 3 business days. Business days exclude weekends and Canadian federal and provincial holidays. Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST may be processed the following business day.

Order Holds: Orders may be held if payment verification is required, if the shipping address is incomplete or unverifiable, or if additional documentation is needed for your wholesale account. Our team will contact you promptly in any such case.

We want to be completely transparent about how shipping costs work at Dream Wholesale, because honesty builds better partnerships.

How shipping costs are estimated

Shipping fees shown at checkout are estimated based on:

  • Package weight and dimensions as entered in our system
  • Destination address and shipping zone
  • Carrier and service level

Why your final shipping cost may differ from checkout

This is something we want every customer to understand clearly: the shipping amount shown at checkout is an estimate, not always the final confirmed amount. Here is why:

  • Dream Wholesale works directly with all four carriers and has negotiated discounted commercial rates well below standard retail shipping prices. We pass these savings directly to you and add no markup on shipping.
  • When we actually pack your products and generate your label, the real weight and actual box dimensions may differ from the estimate at checkout. Carriers charge based on the actual packed shipment, not the estimated figures.
  • We compare rates across all four carrier partners in real time and buy your label from whichever carrier offers the best price, speed, and reliability for that shipment.

What happens if there is a difference?

If the actual shipping cost of your packed order differs from what was collected at checkout, here is exactly what we do:

We contact you with the updated shipping amount and a full explanation of the difference.

If the actual cost is lower, we refund the difference to your original payment method automatically. No action needed from you.

If the actual cost is higher, you can approve and pay the difference, or cancel the order for a full refund. Nothing is ever charged without your approval.

Once approved, your order is dispatched the same day or the next business day.

Our promise on shipping costs: Dream Wholesale charges you our negotiated carrier rate with no shipping markup. We compare all four carriers on every single shipment to find you the most cost-effective, fast, and reliable option.

International duties and taxes

For international orders to the US, UK, EU, Australia, and New Zealand, our carriers support prepaid duties at checkout where available, so you know the full landed cost upfront with no surprise fees at delivery. If prepaid duties are not selected, any applicable customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Free shipping promotions

Dream Wholesale periodically offers free or discounted shipping on qualifying orders. Terms, minimum order thresholds, and eligible zones are clearly communicated at checkout or in promotional emails.

Same-Day GTA Delivery

Dream Wholesale offers same-day delivery across the Greater Toronto Area using our own in-house drivers. This is one of our most valued services for local retail partners.

Eligibility

  • Order must be placed before 12:00 PM EST on a business day
  • Delivery address must be within the GTA: Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke, Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Oakville, Burlington, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa
  • Payment must be fully confirmed at the time of order
  • All ordered items must be in stock at the time of order placement

How it works

  • Deliveries are made by our own Dream Wholesale drivers, not a third-party courier
  • Delivery windows are typically between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM EST on the same business day
  • You receive a notification when your driver is en route
  • Someone must be available at the delivery address to receive the order

If we miss the window: If we cannot fulfill same-day delivery for any reason, we contact you immediately and arrange next-day delivery at no extra charge.

Local Pickup (In-Store)

Prefer to collect your order in person? Dream Wholesale offers free local pickup from our Mississauga warehouse.

How to use local pickup

  • Step 1: Select "Pickup in Store" at checkout. No shipping fee applies.
  • Step 2: Our team emails or calls you when your order is ready, typically within 1 to 2 business hours during operating hours.
  • Step 3: Bring your order confirmation email (digital or printed) and valid photo ID to collect your order.

Unclaimed orders: Orders not picked up within 5 business days of the ready notification will be restocked and store credit issued. Contact us if you need to reschedule your pickup.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order is dispatched, you can track it every step of the way.

  • Shipping confirmation email: sent as soon as your order leaves our warehouse, with your tracking number and carrier details
  • Account dashboard: log into your Dream Wholesale account to view real-time order status and tracking updates
  • Carrier websites: use your tracking number directly on the Canada Post, DHL Express, UPS, or Purolator website

Tracking activation: Please allow 24 to 48 hours after receiving your shipping confirmation for tracking to become active on the carrier's website. This is normal and does not indicate a delay with your shipment.

For same-day GTA deliveries, your Dream Wholesale driver contacts you directly when they are on the way to your location.

Delivery Issues

Damaged or missing items on delivery

If your order arrives with damaged, defective, or missing items, report the issue to Dream Wholesale within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos and your order details. Please refer to our Returns and Refunds Policy for full documentation requirements and next steps.

Lost or undelivered packages

If tracking shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, please check with neighbours, building management, or anyone else at the delivery address. Then contact the carrier directly using your tracking number to open an investigation, and notify Dream Wholesale customer service within 5 business days of the reported delivery date. We will assist with the claim.

Incorrect shipping address

Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. Orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer are not eligible for a free reship or refund. If you notice an address error immediately after placing your order, contact us right away — we may be able to correct it before dispatch.

Failed delivery attempts

If a carrier cannot deliver your package because no one is available or access is restricted, they will typically leave a notice and attempt redelivery or hold the package at a local depot. Dream Wholesale is not responsible for packages returned to sender due to failed delivery attempts. Reshipment costs in such cases are the customer's responsibility.

Force majeure: Dream Wholesale is not liable for shipping delays caused by weather events, natural disasters, carrier strikes, customs holds, peak holiday periods, or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Risk of Loss and Title Transfer

For carrier-shipped orders, risk of loss and title pass to the buyer when the package is handed to the carrier at our warehouse. This means:

  • Once your order is picked up by the carrier, it is in the carrier's care and custody
  • Dream Wholesale is not responsible for loss or damage caused by carrier mishandling after pickup, though we will help you file and pursue the carrier claim
  • For high-value bulk orders, contact us to discuss carrier insurance options before shipment

For same-day GTA deliveries made by our own drivers, risk of loss passes to the buyer at the moment the order is delivered and received at your address.

High-value orders: Signature on delivery may be required. If no one is available to sign, the carrier will reattempt delivery or hold the package at a local depot. We will notify you if signature requirements apply to your order.
